Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., a URL).
  4. Your contact information (address, phone number, email).
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-notification

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with: your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, your contact information, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the US, an appropriate judicial district) and that you'll accept service from the person who filed the original complaint.

Repeat infringers

We terminate accounts or access for users determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances.
